- Target the best clients for your services. It is also true that you can’t be all things to all people. It may seem like casting a wide net will be the best way to obtain new customers, but that is only true if they’re all the right customers for your business. When a new client isn’t a good fit with your services, you will spend more time trying to fit a round peg into a square hole and it won’t generate income for your business. Be deliberate with the businesses you target.
